“I was very happy with the job they did cleaning the ducts at my house. The crew was very courteous and professional. I had called another company to do the job previously, but they were unable to do it due to constrained access to my basement. Atlantic Ventilation Cleaning had no issue with working with the very limited space and worked very efficiently.”

Why is Air Duct Cleaning Important?
- Cleaning air ducts can help in maintaining good indoor air quality. The air passing through the ducts is the air that you and your family breathe every day. If the ducts are left unchecked, then allergens such as pollens and pet dander can enter your home through the supply registers. Even though these particles aren’t necessarily a health hazard, they can cause problems for people with allergies, asthma and other respiratory issues. Cleaning the air ducts can thus keep the air you breathe free from airborne particles creating a healthier environment.
- It can also boost the energy efficiency of the overall HVAC system. When duct systems have restrictions, more energy is required to provide the air required to meet the system demands. Cleaning the ducts can make the units perform efficiently resulting in cost savings.
- It protects the heating and the cooling equipment. When the ventilation system is dirty, it can block heating & cooling coils, contaminate blower wheels, block filters and cause other issues, which may lead to costly repairs. Proactive cleaning will help in extending the life & efficiency of HVAC systems.

How do we do it?
Residential Process
Applies to Forced Air furnaces, HRV/Air Exchangers & Ducted Heat Pumps
- HEPA filter suction units are connected to both supply and return main ducts
- Each diffuser or register grill is removed and sealed with a non-stick covering ensuring no debris is introduced into the living environment during the cleaning process.
- A full contact air whip is guided in through each register/diffuser access area to clean the associated branch line.
- All branch lines are cleaned, including the main supply and return ducts.
- All debris removed is collected and disposed of properly.
- Please note due to size limitations, the robotic technology cannot be offered in residential applications.
Commercial Process
AVCL uses a four-step commercial process to insure a healthy, productive indoor air environment:
- Inspection. - We begin with a detailed visual multi-point inspection.
- Testing and Evaluation. - We run detailed tests and evaluate your ventilation system.
- Corrective Action. - Our advanced robotic technology corrects deficiencies in your system.
- Permanent Air Indoor Quality Control. - Inside surfaces of the ventilation system are videotaped, to confirm the quality of cleaning and to provide the client with a documented record of the clean internal surfaces.
The above residential process can be used in a larger scale for commercial applications.
